Electronic Medical Record/HIM Specialist

Job TitlePRIMARY PURPOSE/FUNCTION: Performs all duties relating to the analysis, training, daily operations, and statistical analysis of the Electronic Medical Record.QualificationsEducational and/or Professional Qualifications: Minimum of an Associates Degree (preferably in Health Information Technology/IT) preferred. Bachelors degree in Health Information Management/Informatics preferred.Keyboarding/computer skillsKnowledge of Medical TerminologyPrevious Experience: 1. Computers and other office equipment 2. At least 2 years of experience working with electronic medical records.
