Job Title

Travel RN – ICU / Critical Care (Rapid Response Team)

Location

Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Rotating Weekends | No On-Call

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as part of a dedicated rapid response team, operating facility-wide rather than within a single patient assignment
• Collaborate with core staff members to respond to emergent and critical patient needs across the facility
• Perform and assist with cardiac arrest management, targeted temperature management (TTM), and post-resuscitation care
• Support trauma, stroke, and STEMI workups as needed throughout the facility
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float throughout the facility as required by the rapid response role

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 5 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to respond rapidly to high-acuity situations across multiple units
• Compassionate, team-oriented professional who works well in a collaborative environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior dedicated rapid response team experience highly recommended
• Medical ICU background
• Emergency Department (ED) background
