Cath Lab RN / Cath Lab Tech Travel Assignment

Shift Schedule:

• 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Position Overview

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler will utilize professional and clinical expertise to provide and manage patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting. Travelers may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

• EMR: Epic

Holiday Requirement

Travelers must be available to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays :

• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience
• Active Iowa RN license (or applicable Cath Lab Tech credentials)
• Epic EMR experience
• Scrub experience

• Experience with vasopressor titration

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one completed travel assignment

Case Types & Equipment

Patient Population:

• Coronary cases
• Vascular cases
• Some IR procedures

Equipment Experience Required:

• Cardiac Cath Lab
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Rotablator (Rota)
• Penumbra System

• Skills Checklist (completed within the last 12 months)
• License Verification
• Copies of Required Certifications
• One Supervisor Reference

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS

On-Call Requirements

• Every other week:
  • Monday 4:00 PM through the following Monday 6:30 AM
• Weekend call: None
