Licensed Vocational Nurse – Home Health

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Requirements:

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required
• Arrhythmia certification: Preferred
• Valid Driver's License: Preferred
• At least two years recent experience in the field

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) according to established standards and nursing processes.
• Perform routine patient visits as dictated by departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing a prioritized interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient.
• Implement and coordinate the plan of care utilizing organizational skills and appropriate reporting mechanisms.
• Administer medications and perform assigned clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and injections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areas, ordering and restocking supplies as necessary.
