As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle access records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas of the freight location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Report access-control concerns, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
