Role Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our enthusiastic team of imaging professionals committed to providing outstanding care. You will expertly utilize advanced ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic procedures while working alongside a collaborative team of healthcare providers to ease patient anxieties through effective and precise imaging.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly communicating each step of the procedure with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly reporting any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records using electronic medical systems
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education and Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
