Job Description JS Held's Accident Reconstruction practice is on the hunt for an experienced Accident Reconstruction Engineer who's ready to dive into the fascinating world of forensic investigation! The perfect candidate for this exciting role brings a genuine passion for accident reconstruction and a solid foundation in expert witness testimony. Beyond the core engineering detective work, you'll get to wear multiple hats - from hunting down new business opportunities with current and future clients, to mentoring the next generation of engineers, and even taking the spotlight during engaging presentations for clients and peers. - Take charge of accident reconstruction projects and build amazing relationships with clients
- Become a business development superstar - spot opportunities, nurture them, and seal the deal!
- Channel your inner detective during unbiased field investigations and testing of incidents and loss events
- Transform complex technical findings into clear, compelling analysis and conclusions that anyone can understand - whether you're presenting verbally or crafting written reports
- Embark on exciting travels for inspections, fieldwork, marketing adventures, and business development missions
- Keep everyone in the loop with stellar communication skills, updating clients and project teams on progress and project scope
- Stay at the cutting edge of your field through continuous learning - attend workshops, seminars, dive into scientific publications, and network with fellow professionals in industry organizations
- Crush your performance metrics and goals, then aim even higher!
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering field is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of post-academic industry engineering experience preferred.
- ACTAR certification preferred.
- Foundation of testifying experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in technical reports is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attitude to deliver results. Experience managing teams is preferred.
- Mathematically and technologically inclined with the ability to adapt to new environments or scenarios quickly.
- Skilled with software and technical systems.
- Willingness and ability to obtain additional licensure and certification.
- Ability to work remotely or while travelling to different job sites. (reliable cellular service, access to high-speed data, etc.)
- Willingness and desire to work above and beyond the minimum performance and goal requirements.
- Master's Degree
- Must be able to travel to different regions. (have reliable transportation, etc.)
