Job Description

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming school year. Work full-time on a contract basis, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing vital therapy services and collaborating closely with students and educators. The assignment begins August 13, 2026, and continues through June 9, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a difference throughout the academic year in a dynamic, onsite school environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active COTA license in the state of California
• Demonstrated school-based experience, particularly in elementary settings
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to support students' individual needs in a school environment
• Comfortable participating in a virtual (Zoom) interview

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy support and services to students as directed by an Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote successful student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and timely reporting in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
