The Regional Summer School Counselor provides system-based and organizational support to CiTi BOCES Regional Summer School. The position focuses on SchoolTool functions related to enrollment, scheduling support, and end-of-program reporting. This role is primarily administrative and systems-oriented and does not involve routine direct counseling services with students.

The position requires working knowledge of secondary school counseling practices and the ability to navigate key features of SchoolTool used in a summer school setting to ensure accurate records and timely communication with component districts and internal staff.

Pre-Program Support

• Assist with receiving, enrolling, and organizing student information provided by component school districts.
• Support SchoolTool setup for Regional Summer School, including enrollment structures and course assignments, in collaboration with program leadership.
• Review enrollment and scheduling data for accuracy and completeness.
• Support administrative communication related to timelines, enrollment verification, and system readiness.

During Program Support

• Maintain and monitor SchoolTool records throughout the summer program.
• Serve as a point of support for staff regarding SchoolTool navigation and system processes.
• Assist with enrollment changes, schedule adjustments, and data corrections as needed.

Post-Program Support

• Assist with the review and verification of grades, credits, and course completions.
• Support reporting and record-sharing processes with component school districts.
• Conduct basic data checks to ensure records are complete prior to submission.
