You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. This position will be based out of our Lone Tree, CO office. Responsibilities

• Produce simple structural/bridge design calculations • Review and check structural/bridge design calculations • Analysis using structural engineering software Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil or Architectural Engineering (with Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited college or university. • GPA above 3.0 preferred • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel • Familiar with basic structural analysis software and engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MathCAD, Navisworks, SAP2000, RISA-3D etc. • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done • Good written and verbal communication skills • Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned Other Requirements: • Regular, reliable attendance • Work productively and meet deadlines timely • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
