Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionNashville, TNA Nashville area commercial general contractor is looking for a Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is a strong fit for someone who knows how to manage the moving pieces of a complex commercial build, communicate effectively with owners and field teams, and keep projects on track financially and operationally.Healthcare construction experience is highly preferred, including hospitals, medical offices, clinics, renovations, and other occupied healthcare environments.ResponsibilitiesManage projects from preconstruction through final completionOversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project documentationManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, cost reports, and forecastingCoordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and ownersLead project meetings and maintain clear communication across the project teamMonitor project financials and identify potential cost or schedule issues earlySupport subcontractor buyout and scope reviewEnsure project milestones, quality expectations, and client commitments are metManage closeout, punch lists, turnover, and final documentationProvide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and Assistant Project ManagersQualifications5+ years of commercial construction project management experienceExperience working for a commercial general contractorHealthcare construction experience highly preferredStrong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and cost controlExperience managing projects with significant subcontractor and owner coordinationStrong communication, organization, and leadership skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredThe OpportunityThis position offers the opportunity to manage complex commercial projects in the Nashville market while taking real ownership of project execution and client relationships.Candidates with healthcare experience will be especially valuable, as these projects require a higher level of coordination, phasing, communication, and attention to detail—particularly in active or occupied environments.
