What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity unsecured areas and/or conditions needing attention.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity following site protocols for entry restricted areas and after-hours movement while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support a welcoming environment by offering directions assisting with routine inquiries and reporting maintenance operational and/or security-related concerns observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital-required vaccinations are required.
• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
