Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) – Honolulu, Hawaii | Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date 06/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for scheduled procedures, ensuring sterile technique and that instruments and supplies are ready.
- Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies; support instrument counts and room setup.
- Monitor patient status during procedures when assigned as a Monitor Tech; observe electrocardiogram and other monitors and respond to alarms as needed.
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers to and from the OR, and coordination with anesthesia teams as directed.
- Maintain the sterile field and assist with room turnover between cases; ensure equipment is functioning and report any concerns.
- Adhere to safety, infection prevention, and hospital policies throughout the perioperative process.

Requirements
- Monitor Tech certification is required.
- Must pass an EKG test on the first day of orientation.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts including weekends.
- Willingness to work in a short-term acute care setting in Honolulu, Hawaii.
- Basic ability to read and follow perioperative instructions and maintain safety and infection control standards.
