Job Description & Requirements Focus Staff is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (Interventional Radiographer) for a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Client Overview We currently have a client in Louisville, KY looking for a traveling Interventional Radiographer to perform complex specialized tasks in operating radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures. Requirements Proven experience as Interventional Radiographer Independent decision‑making skills Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees Capable of maintaining regular attendance Meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post‑offer health assessment Physical and sensory requirements (e.g., walking, reaching, climbing, bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, pulling, hearing, responding to pages, reading, writing, verbal and written communication, remaining calm under stress, distinguishing smells, tastes, temperatures) Work Experience At least two years of experience Responsibilities Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Develop and maintain skills in McKesson RIS, Physician Portal, PCM, PMM, Kronos, PACS, PHS, Teletrak, and any other clinical systems implemented for the modalities Monitor and ensure equipment performance to specification Assist the supervisor in maintaining an adequate supply of materials required for patient care Ensure relevant exam information is captured at the time of the exam Assist radiologists in performing exams, providing clinical excellence Job Type: Contract/Temporary/Travel Location: Louisville, KY If you have a passion for Interventional Radiography, apply today and a recruiter will guide you through the process.
