Job Description Summary GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business combines advanced energy conversion and storage systems to meet the electrification needs of utilities and industries. Roles and Responsibilities Delivering and executing project milestones, using systems-level product knowledge to coordinate engineering activity between designers, suppliers, and installers. Work collaboratively with project managers to maintain project budgets and keep costs within budget. Communicate effectively with customers to provide product information and coordinate change requests. Identify project risks and take ownership of technical solutions when needed. Responsible for delivering engineering drawings and calculations. Prepare technical documentation such as work instructions and test procedures. Provide real-time technical support to technicians and customer engineers. Liaise with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and manufacture of products to agreed-upon budgets and time frames. Develop strategies for product improvement and provide candid feedback to internal design and manufacturing teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time Desired Characteristics Experience with troubleshooting control software and electronics Experience with power conversion and distribution systems Well-rounded system-level thinking Solar and/or Battery Energy Storage experience Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Established project management skills Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is 98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is eligible for a performance bonus.
