Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatrics

Full-Time | Auburn, MA
$32.50–$39.00 per hour

Child Health Associates is seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing pediatric practice in Auburn, Massachusetts.

Schedule

• Full-time, 4-day workweek
• Consistent weekly schedule
• One evening shift per week until 7:00 PM
• One weekday off each week
• One weekend shift per month

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
• Perform telephone triage, assess patient symptoms, and provide guidance to families according to established protocols
• Document telephone encounters accurately and communicate patient concerns to providers as appropriate
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and patient information
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as ordered
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health concerns
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Support patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and fellow clinical staff

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Pediatric or outpatient experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
