Job Description

Take on a dynamic role as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, utilizing your expertise across a range of advanced imaging systems in a collaborative, patient-centered hospital environment. This contract opportunity calls for proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures, delivering care to adolescent through geriatric patients while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts, 6:00am 5:30pm
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating call: one week per month (weekdays post-shift until 11pm and weekends 7am11pm)
• Expectation to work major holidays as scheduled according to assignment period
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required; no first-time travelers
• Current BLS certification, ARRT-R, and NMTCB required
• Strong knowledge of patient populations, from adolescents to geriatrics
• Proficient with Xceleris processing, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, Epic, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
• Familiarity with AtomLab960, Capintec CRC-55tR, CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, Bicron 2000 survey meters
• Dark grey scrubs required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced nuclear medicine imaging, adhering to facility protocols and safety standards
• Process and analyze images using multiple digital systems
• Maintain patient records and workflow efficiently within Epic and PACS
• Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals accurately
• Participate in department call rotations and holiday coverage
• Support a safe clinical environment through diligent survey and calibration of nuclear medicine equipment
