About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients, including geriatric and neurological populations
• Support individualized recovery plans for patients presenting with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team throughout the recovery journey
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EHR
• Maintain a patient ratio of 7:1 in a 66-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting

• Active LVN or RN license - multistate compact or Texas state license required
• BLS certification required
• Nursing degree required (LVN, ADN, BSN, or higher)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse

• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Experience in a rehabilitation or neurological care setting
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records

• Work in a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facility with a consistent block schedule and no call requirements
• Join a nationally recognized rehabilitation program with CARF accreditation across multiple specialty programs, including Stroke, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
