Managing Consultant - Life Sciences Advisory - Market Access (US)

The role focuses on product planning, pricing, reimbursement, commercialization, and regulatory solutions to help clients navigate a transformative era in healthcare. Key Responsibilities Partner with clients across all levels to develop and implement pricing and access strategies for pharmaceutical assets. Develop project proposals, manage consulting teams, and communicate deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes. Maintain client relationships and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Design and manage project teams for qualitative and quantitative market access and pricing strategy initiatives. Lead primary interviews with payers, KOLs, and other key stakeholders. Exercise deep expertise in PartA, PartB, and PartD pricing and reimbursement, gross‑to‑net calculations, and Excel‑based financial models. Apply health economic methodologies and value pricing constructs to inform recommendations. Create practice economic analyses across varied care settings and financial ecosystems. Stay current on pricing and access laws, regulatory changes, and policy developments. Produce thought leadership outputs, including written pieces and podium presentations. Deliver insights and recommendations to executive‑level audiences. Train, mentor, and develop junior consulting staff. Required Qualifications BCS in a science, biomedical engineering, business, or healthcare policy – preferred. ≥4years of consulting or related business experience in market access, reimbursement, pricing, or health economics. 1–2years of direct client management and content delivery experience. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development, and launch processes. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative market research methods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred (Nice to Have) Graduate degree in business or health‑related fields (MBA, MPH, MS, PhD). Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple work streams. Track record of mentoring junior staff and leading successful projects. Demonstrated progression in responsibility within a consulting firm. Exceptional attention to detail and communication excellence. Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00 to $170,000.00. Compensation is determined by factors such as skill set, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
