Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder with a minimum of five years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of TIG welding processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision fabrication techniques. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of producing high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other alloys as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
• Perform fit-up, grinding, and finishing operations as necessary.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper preventive maintenance is completed.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve fabrication issues.
• Meet daily production schedules and quality expectations.
• Document work completed and maintain accurate production records.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong ability to weld thin-gauge and precision components.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and weld specifications.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Preferred:

• AWS welding certification preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments preferred.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Multi-process welding experience is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $32.64 - $48.70 per hour.
