Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week | Start: 6:45 AM – End: 7:15 PM | Every other weekend expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 45-bed medical/surgical unit serving orthopedic, general surgery, urology, and high-acuity medical patients including CHF, COPD, and pneumonia diagnoses
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 on day shift with organized, patient-focused care delivery
• Operate unit equipment including Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, and Phillips Cardiac Monitor
• Perform telemetry monitoring and accurate clinical documentation in EPIC EMR
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV skills and adhere to unit float requirements as needed
• Nurses with PALS certification may be assigned to care for pediatric patients admitted to the general floor

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in IV skills and telemetry monitoring
• Completion of assigned LMS education modules upon onboarding

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification (preferred but not required for general assignment; required if caring for pediatric patients)
• Experience in medical/surgical settings including orthopedic, urology, or general surgery populations
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented personality
