Quotation Specialist

Description

Essential Functions

Provides support, processes quote requests, makes note of availability and lead time
requirements when requested.
Communicates with customers on pricing and terms given by the Sales team
Calculates special pricing using internal guidelines
Provides accurate pricing and lead time on quote requests

Duties and Responsibilities

Process customer quotes through ERP by obtaining a list from customers via phone and/or email
Daily interactions with inside sales representatives, outside sales representatives, purchasing
department, and others
Route all special pricing requests through Sales Management through the email procedure for
approval
Communicate with management in regard to processes, policy and procedures

Requirements

Education/Experience

4-year college degree or equivalent (required)
Minimum 2 years experience in B2B-related field (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, etc.,

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and in writing
Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
Experience with working with customers a plus
Basic math skills
Minimum 40 wpm typing skills
Experience in an ERP system (preferred)

Physical Demands

The ability to sit for extended periods of time
