Dosimetrist

Dosimetrist- Radiation Oncology

Expert knowledge in computer planning systems, radiation dosimetry, treatment simulation and planning. Ability to communicate with and care for cancer patients (Adult and Geriatric.) Knowledgeable in medical physics and radiobiology. Ability to communicate knowledge of dosimetry to staff. Expert knowledge of all tasks associated with the care of radiation oncology patients.

High School Graduate and completion of a formal RTT and/or CMD training program approved by AMA. Minimum of two years experience in medical physics/dosimetry preferred. Board certified or eligible by AAMD.
