Production Designer - Retail

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Production Designer to join the creative team of an established fashion and lifestyle retailer. This role will support the development and production of creative assets across digital and select print channels , partnering closely with designers, project managers, marketing, and other cross-functional teams.

• $25/hr
• 3 days on-site/2 days remote in NYC

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment .

What You’ll Do

• Produce polished, pixel-perfect digital and print assets using established templates and brand guidelines.
• Adapt creative across multiple formats while maintaining consistency in typography, photography, layout, and technical specifications .
• Prepare and deliver assets for email, paid media, social media, web, and other digital channels .
• Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Maintain organized files and follow established file-naming and production standards.
• Build and maintain digital template libraries and communicate updates to the broader creative team.
• Partner closely with creative, marketing, production, and project management teams.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and quickly identify solutions.
• Work within tight turnaround times, including projects requiring completion within 24 hours .
• Help identify opportunities to improve creative and cross-functional workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field .
• 1–3 years of digital production or production design experience .
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy, and fundamental design principles .
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign .
• Comfortable working in Adobe After Effects and/or Premiere Pro for video and motion editing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering organized, high-quality final assets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and comfortable adjusting quickly as business priorities change.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
