Pharmacist - Per Diem

Position Pharmacist Location Omaha, NE Schedule Per Diem Shift Typical hours 0800-1400 one weekend a month with potential of other days as needed Compensation $62.00 per hour Overview Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Responsibilities Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment. Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times. Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged. Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs. Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring. Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement. Have a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture. Current State licensure required. BLS if required by State.
