Job Title : Full Time Warehouse Associate (Redlands, CA) Employment Type : Full-Time Location : Redlands, CA, United States About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Full Time Warehouse Associate in Redlands, CA. In this distribution center role, you will safely receive, maneuver, store, and ship home furnishings, operating powered industrial equipment and ensuring product quality throughout fulfillment. Key Responsibilities (Distribution Operations & Material Handling): Expertly handle, maneuver, and stage fine furniture across distribution center bays and loading docks. Operate powered equipment including cherry pickers, industrial lift trucks, and pallet jacks adhering to safety guidelines. Conduct quality inspections during handling, verifying that pieces remain pristine throughout distribution. Move materials strategically throughout the facility using digital barcode tracking and warehouse management systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment following 5S facility guidelines. Participate actively in safety huddles, equipment training programs, and operational reviews. Share continuous improvement ideas to optimize material flow and handling ergonomics. Ensure proper packaging and protection on all furniture items prior to outbound freight loading. Collaborate with shipping and receiving teams to achieve daily distribution volume quotas. Required Skills & Qualifications: Physical capability to transport loads up to 100 lbs frequently and manipulate up to 250 lbs occasionally (with assistance). Confidence working at heights while operating specialized warehouse equipment such as cherry pickers. High attention to detail regarding product condition, shipping tags, and inventory accuracy. Collaborative team spirit with dedicated commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance. Dependable transportation and flexibility to work assigned shifts including 2nd shift and weekends. What the Role Offers: Starting base pay of $18.50 up to $21.00 per hour (with shift differentials). 2nd shift ($1.00/hr added) and weekend ($1.50/hr added) shift differential bonuses.
