Registered Nurse, Labor And Delivery

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (Day Shift) in Lubbock, Texas.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery will provide comprehensive care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. This position requires at least 2 years of L&D experience and familiarity with the EPIC charting system, as well as the ability to assist with high-risk deliveries and provide neonatal resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one patient care during labor and delivery.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as needed.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor.
• Perform postpartum assessments and provide education to new mothers.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active and valid RN license.
• ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.
