Job Summary As a Corporate Social Responsibility Specialist – Employee Volunteer Programs, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of TCS’s volunteer program, demonstrate its effectiveness, and provide leaders and stakeholders with information and messaging to amplify the scale of initiatives. The role primarily supports the employee volunteer program, community outreach and philanthropic initiatives in the United States and involves up to 30% domestic travel. Responsibilities Organize and coordinate volunteer events, including logistics and event details. Recruit, steward, and manage the CSR Champions Network nationwide. Conduct in‑person road shows and webinars with employees across the country. Connect the CSR Champions Network and employees to CSR opportunities with national nonprofit partners in focus areas such as health, education, and environment. Support associates through TCS’s internal CSR/civic leadership training program by managing virtual modules and small‑group cohorts. Upload volunteer events, manage all requests and questions related to volunteering, and maintain metrics reports related to volunteer impact. Collaborate closely with CSR program teams to recruit volunteers for STEM education activities. Regularly innovate opportunities to reach employees across the U.S., raising awareness and inspiring engagement with TCS’s volunteer programs or in their own communities throughout the year. Help administer employee recognition programs. Coordinate payments to nonprofit partners, vendors, and suppliers. Create CSR content on volunteer events for both internal and external stakeholders. Integrate marketing and communication efforts within all stakeholders while reinforcing brand standards. Help develop content, tools, assets, and collateral to support outreach and employee engagement (e.g., presentations, one‑pagers, reports, infographics) and assist with quarterly CSR newsletters. Support the applications and submissions for CSR awards. Outreach to nonprofit partners to develop and manage mutually beneficial business‑community partnerships. Coordinate project logistics, including pre‑project development, planning, project supplies, and provide onsite leadership at select volunteer events. Coordinate volunteer recruitment and registration, with support from the CSR Champions Network. Support corporate philanthropy efforts by working with internal stakeholders and nonprofits to execute the donation process. Track and review contributions requests to support the company’s philanthropic strategy. This position involves up to 30% travel within the United States. Qualifications Understanding of CSR and Human Resources principles and practices. Self‑directed individual with initiative, creativity, analytical aptitude, and organizational management skills. Superb communications skills, including writing, editing, and presentation. Ability to lead and manage volunteers and volunteer groups. Ability to collaborate with other departments, agencies, and peers to reach common goals. Strong planning and organizational skills with close attention to detail. Working knowledge of popular social networks. Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced and changing work environment. Desired Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6‑8 years of related work experience in volunteer management, communications, cross‑functional and cross‑disciplinary project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with nonprofits and managing volunteer programs and events. Experience actively building and maintaining strong relationships with business professionals and organizations.
