Azure Cloud Senior Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Senior Administrator to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role involves cloud architecture, DevOps automation, security governance, and hybrid infrastructure support.

Required Technical / Functional Skills

• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and enterprise architecture
• Ability to assess and optimize Azure environments for scalability, security, performance, and cost
• Experience with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
• Hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps (CI/CD, release pipelines, automation)
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI
• Experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, AD DS, RBAC, Conditional Access
• Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Microsoft Sentinel
• Experience in Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions
• Knowledge of VMware-based hybrid cloud environments
• Experience managing Windows and Linux workloads in Azure
• Familiarity with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and Docker
• Experience with FinOps using Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure and scalable Azure cloud solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical cloud architectures
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Implement identity, security, and governance using Azure AD, RBAC, and policies
• Manage monitoring, logging, and security using Azure Monitor and Sentinel
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Support hybrid infrastructure and VMware migration scenarios
• Handle incident, problem, and change management (including CAB processes)
• Perform root cause analysis and lead major incident resolution
• Identify automation opportunities and drive service improvements
• Ensure compliance with enterprise policies and cloud best practices
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and global IT teams
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
