Tyler, Texas Orthopedic Surgery Position Overview

Position: Full-Time Faculty Orthopedic Surgeon
Practice Setting: Academic medical center and regional referral system
Subspecialties Encouraged: General Orthopedics, Joint Replacement
Trauma: Level I Trauma Center
Group: 17 orthopedic physicians with 13 APPs

Availability

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
Protected Administrative Time: 4 hours/week
Call: Approximately 3 days/month
Patient Volume: 20-25 patients/day
Case Mix: 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient

Licenses & Certifications

Board Certification: Orthopedic Surgery - Required
Board Eligibility: Orthopedic Surgery - Accepted
