Production Worker - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The hourly rate for this position is $20.45 per hour plus a $.50 per hour shift differential.

What you'll do:

The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout - doing various labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius)of Highland, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic area limitation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience.

Position Success Criteria:

• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above the shoulder level, push and pull with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to do repetitive action of simple grasping, and firm grasping with or without reasonable accommodations, as required.
• Ability to work comfortably around moving machinery.
• Ability to work in an enviornment with minimal temperature fluctuations, primarily occuring during dock door openings.
