Planner II

Job Summary The Planner II leads strategic procurement, planning, and supply chain initiatives focused on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and aligning operations with organizational goals. The role drives cross-functional projects, manages supplier negotiations, oversees compliance, and implements advanced planning and forecasting strategies. Location On-site at our Chillicothe, MO facility. Role Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize vendor performance and cost-efficiency. Lead supplier negotiations, manage high-value contracts, and ensure supplier compliance with long-term goals. Oversee advanced planning functions, including long-term demand forecasting and capacity planning. Lead planning for smaller sites and integrate their requirements into overall supply chain objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members. Work to achieve program, functional, and/or business targets within the team with direct impact on departmental results. Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma or GED. 2+ years of planning and scheduling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis and ad-hoc reporting. Experience in lean manufacturing environment. Good communication skills and strong sense of teamwork. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively. Relocation This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
