Payroll AdministratorWentzville, MO Pay Rate: $29.00/hr - $31.73/hr As a member of the plant finance team; this entry level position, will perform a variety of routine payroll tasks. Tasks include: administering time and attendance and other basic payroll-related tasks; and participating in month end closes and audits.The Role: Your work will include, but not be limited to:Processing time and attendance records and collaborating with departmental staff to ensure accuracy and timelinessCompiling, preparing, and maintaining payroll reports and key metricsPerforming complex clerical duties involved in the preparation and processing of payroll to ensure accuracy of subsequent payment processingMaintaining departmental records in accordance to established records management policyResponding to routine questions and requests for forms and informationReviewing wages computed and correcting errors to ensure accuracy of payrollPreparing periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductionsCreating and submitting credit memos, debit memos and check requests as requiredPerforming various departmental tasks including running/reviewing reports, various reconciliations, and month end supportPerforming various administrative tasks that facilitate daily plant operationsYour Qualifications:Preferred 1+ year of experience in manufacturing/warehouse environmentAssociates Degree or equivalent in accounting or businessBonus If You Have:Bachelor's Degree in related fieldKronos experiencePrior automotive experience LanceSoft
