Help Desk Technician

Kforce's client in Austin, TX is seeking a Help Desk Technician with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on technical support experience to provide end-user support in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
- Resolve incidents and service requests through a ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams when necessary
- Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
- 3+ years of Help Desk, Service Desk, or Desktop Support experience
- Strong experience with general PC troubleshooting, including hardware, software, and operating system support
- Experience supporting Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting network and local printers
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Experience supporting virtualized desktop environments (VDI/Citrix/VMware Horizon) is a significant plus, but not required
- Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and ticketing systems
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
