In this position, you will collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver exceptional rehabilitative care to our residents, aiding them in reaching their mobility and wellness objectives through tailored treatment plans and empathetic support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and recommended home exercises.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting is preferred.
• CPR certification is advantageous.
