Were looking for a talented Junior Product Engineer who wants to grow quickly, take ownership, and help us build the next generation of insurance technology.

At Claimtouch, engineers dont just implement tickets. Youll learn to understand the problems our customers face, contribute to how we solve them, and build solutions that make it all the way into production.

Youll work closely with experienced engineers while gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex features and technical decisions. Youll get exposure to the entire product—from frontend and backend development to cloud infrastructure and AI.

Were not looking for someone who already knows everything. Were looking for someone who is curious, learns quickly, takes initiative, and wants responsibility.

What Youll do

Youll contribute directly to the development of Claimtouch while building the skills to become an increasingly independent Product Engineer.

Your responsibilities include:

· Build and improve features used by our customers.

· Work across different parts of our product, including frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, and AI.

· Learn to take features from an initial problem or idea through implementation and into production.

· Investigate technical and product problems and contribute ideas for how to solve them.

· Work closely with experienced engineers on architecture, implementation, and product decisions.

· Use modern AI tools as part of your everyday development workflow.

· Contribute to automated testing and continuously improve the quality of our codebase.

· Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback.

· Help deploy, monitor, debug, and maintain production systems.

· Gradually participate in customer and product discussions to understand the problems behind what we build.

As you grow, youll take ownership of increasingly complex features and have greater influence over both technical and product decisions.

Who You Are

Youre early in your engineering career, but youre ambitious about where you want to go.

You enjoy figuring things out. When you encounter something you dont understand, your instinct is to investigate, experiment, and learn.

You dont expect every task to come with detailed instructions. Youll try to solve a problem yourself, but youre also comfortable asking for help when you need it.

Youre interested in more than writing code. You want to understand the product, the customer, and why youre building something in the first place.

Most importantly, you want responsibility and are motivated to earn more of it as you grow.

What we are looking for

Were more interested in potential, curiosity, initiative, and learning velocity than a specific number of years of experience.

Were looking for someone who:

· Has a solid foundation in software development and has demonstrated an ability to build working software.

· Learns new technologies and concepts quickly.

· Takes initiative and enjoys solving problems.

· Is comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and learning from them.

· Responds well to feedback and actively uses it to improve.

· Knows when to investigate independently and when to ask for help.

· Cares about product quality and customer outcomes, not just completing a technical task.

· Communicates openly about progress, challenges, and things they dont understand.

· Is pragmatic, curious, and open-minded about how software should be built.

· Wants to work across different parts of a product rather than specialize too early.

You might be a recent graduate, a self-taught developer, or already have some professional software development experience. Were less interested in the path you took than in what you can demonstrate and how you approach problems.
