Entry-Level Accountant

Overview Entry-Level Accountant role at Mass Markets. Responsibilities Performs Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation Enters routine journal entries and bank transactions Enters AP bills and credit card transactions if needed Performs month-end closing and reconciliation Reconciles, investigates, corrects, and adjusts accounting information Performs bank reconciliation Supports department peers as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting experience including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization Demonstrates ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, organized, able to prioritize and work independently Highly self-motivated and directed Compensation & Benefits What you can expect from MCI: Our compensation and benefits packages are designed to be competitive and to grow with you over time.
