Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

Ensure proper cleaning, processing, and sterilization of medical instruments
Inspect and maintain sterilization equipment
Follow infection control protocols during procedures
Document maintenance and sterilization procedures accurately
Collaborate with healthcare staff to meet processing needs

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

Valid Sterile Processing Technician certification
Experience in sterile processing procedures
Knowledge of infection control standards
Strong attention to detail
