This position plays a key role in ensuring environmental testing equipment, trailers, vehicles, and supplies are properly maintained, organized, and ready to support field operations across the country.Primary responsibilities include mobilizing and demobilizing testing trailers, preparing and shipping equipment for projects, managing inventory, performing equipment maintenance and calibration, supporting fleet and shop operations, and maintaining organized equipment storage areas. The successful candidate will work closely with field teams to ensure equipment is operational, complete, and available to meet project needs. The role may occasionally support field projects; travel is expected to be approximately 30-40%.Location: Auburn, ALExpected Outcomes:Maintain and support the Auburn IAS equipment stores operation, ensuring equipment, supplies, and trailers are organized, tracked, and field ready.Mobilize and demobilize testing trailers, equipment, and project materials to support field operations.Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and calibrate environmental monitoring and testing equipment.Manage inventory, receive and process returned equipment, and coordinate equipment logistics for project needs.Support fleet, shop, and facility operations, including vehicle readiness, DOT compliance activities, and work area organization.Complete equipment documentation and maintenance records while adhering to company safety policies and procedures.Collaborate with field teams and contribute to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a strong safety culture.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training, associate's degree, or related education preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and tools.Experience with equipment maintenance, calibration, inventory management, logistics, fleet operations, or shop support preferred.Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in maintenance and repair activities.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn equipment tracking and inventory management systems.Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer-service mindset.Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work in warehouses, shop, and field environments.Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to travel approximately 30-40% in support of equipment deployments, trailer mobilizations, training, and operational needs.Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies and procedures.We fully invest in our people: Weston provides a generous, comprehensive benefits package program that offers employees high value options with solid financial protection, meeting the personal needs of its people and their families.Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with base and matching employer stock contributions.Paid time off including personal, holiday, and parental leave.Life and disability plans.Critical illness and accident plans.Work/Life flexibility.Professional development opportunities.Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.Salary Range: $41,401 - $54,261 - $67,017
