Outside Sales Representative – Wholesale Nursery

Mid-Atlantic Territory (Eastern PA, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia & Washington DC)

Earn $100,000+ | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Vehicle Allowance

Medford Nursery is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and the Washington DC area. If you have experience in horticulture, nursery sales, landscape supply, garden centers, or the green industry—and you're motivated by uncapped earning potential—we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a key representative of Medford Nursery, you will be the face of our company throughout your territory, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with:

• Independent Garden Centers
• Re-Wholesalers
• Landscape Supply Companies
• Landscape Professionals
• Green Industry Businesses

Your responsibilities will include:

• Growing sales within an assigned territory across PA, DE, MD, VA, and the Washington DC market
• Visiting customers regularly and developing new business opportunities
• Assisting customers with plant selection, availability, and product recommendations
• Managing customer orders from quote through delivery
• Building lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and industry knowledge
• Identifying market trends and new sales opportunities
• Representing Medford Nursery at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working independently while building strong customer partnerships.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• Experience in nursery, horticulture, landscaping, garden center, or green industry sales
• Knowledge of shrubs, perennials, roses, trees, and other nursery stock
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization and time management abilities
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Experience

• Wholesale nursery or plant material sales
• Existing relationships with garden centers, landscape companies, or re-wholesalers
• Horticulture, Landscape Design, or Plant Science background
• Experience managing a multi-state sales territory
