Job Description

We are seeking an Office Coordinator to join our team in our Wilmington/Dover locations. You will perform clerical and administrative duties, catering to the needs of families, and ensuring seamless office operations.

BILINGUAL SPANISH CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between families, funeral directors, and office staff
General administrative and clerical duties
Draft correspondences and other formal documents
Plan and schedule appointments and events; Manage and coordinate appointment calendar
Greet and assist onsite guests
Coordinate, receive and record payments
Verify insurance and complete coordinating paperwork; work with insurance company to completion of claim
Maintain accurate and timely client records
Place orders for flowers, caskets, keepsakes, office and other supplies
Create notices and other print material
Provide families with proof of print materials, manage changes, and secure approval
Coordinate printing of materials
Input information into company databases
Provide administrative support across the organization
Support and supervise subordinate staff
Perform all other office tasks
Ensure that public areas are presentable and stocked

Qualifications:

Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
Proficient with standard suite of office programming
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Well developed organizational skills
Exemplary time management skills

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of one year experience in a professional office setting
Ability to operate basic office equipment
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid licensed and insurable driver
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times
