Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple units including ICU, Medical-Surgical Telemetry, and PCU across two campuses, as well as inpatient holds in the ED
• Titrate and manage drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
• Interpret cardiac monitor strips and respond appropriately to dysrhythmias
• Provide care for geriatric, orthopedic, and post-procedural patients including post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and post-CABG (day 3–4)
• Manage respiratory support equipment including BiPAP, CPAP, and Heated High Flow as applicable by unit
• Adhere to unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios: PCU 1:4, Medical-Surgical Telemetry 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an ICU setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must successfully pass a dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% or higher within two attempts prior to contract signing
• Ability to titrate and manage a broad range of vasoactive and cardiac drips
• Ability to interpret cardiac monitor strips independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for post-cardiac catheterization patients, including groin site management
• Familiarity with float pool environments and ability to adapt quickly across multiple unit types
• Experience working with monitor techs and in telemetry-monitored settings
