Patient Services Representative (Full-Time)

Are you someone who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment? Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to provide front desk and administrative support. at our imaging centers located in Raleigh. This position with float between all 13 locations as needed .


What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Register patients, verify demographics, and assist with the check-in process.
• Answer questions and guide patients through their visit.
• Verify insurance eligibility
• Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient records.
• Enter patient information accurately into our electronic systems.
• Prepare daily schedules and make appointment reminder calls.
• Ensure all authorizations and required documentation are completed before scheduled appointments.
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of medical office experience preferred (radiology experience is a plus).
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Driver's license in good standing.
