As a Software Development Engineering – Advisor, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.What you'll do:Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.Experience you'll need to have:6+ years of experience in software development5+ years of experience in C, Java or C++Current Fiserv systems experience3+ years of experience in high volume, low latency OLTP applications3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experienceExperience that would be great to have:Experience in the financial services industry, specifically card processing3+ years of experience in SQL databases3+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesSalary Range$110,000.00 - $186,000.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York.
