Travel Mammography Technologist - Mammography

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a high-volume breast imaging center, requiring 2+ years of recent specialty experience and ARRT-Mammo certification. Requirements ARRT-Mammo certification and AHA BLS required License required if applicable Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the mammography specialty Experience with Hologic mammography equipment preferred At least one prior travel assignment preferred due to high patient volume and complexity Responsibilities Work in a dedicated Women's Breast Care Center performing high-volume imaging services Extremely high-volume department seeing approximately 100 patients per day Imaging services include Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density, Mammograms, and breast biopsy procedures Uses Hologic mammography equipment 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM 40 guaranteed hours per week No on-call requirements Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Perform mammography imaging along with breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures Returning staff who previously worked at this facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after acceptance Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-748905 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
