Electrical Assembler

Job Description

Electrical Assembler performs skilled electrical assembly work on equipment by reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions. This role installs and mounts electrical components, completes wiring and terminations, and supports basic mechanical and gas piping tasks while maintaining safety, documentation, and housekeeping standards.

Hours:

1st Shift - 5:00am-3:00pm - 4-10s

-paid one hour break

-opportunity for overtime

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and verbal instructions to perform electrical assembly tasks accurately.

• Install and mount electrical components on equipment in accordance with specifications and quality standards.

• Terminate cables, troubleshoot electrical circuits, lay out panels, drill and tap holes, and route cables neatly and safely.

• Perform motor and transformer wiring as required, ensuring proper connections and functionality.

• Select, cut, form, and install wiring according to engineering specifications and applicable standards.

• Perform basic electrical and gas piping tasks when needed in support of equipment builds.

• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, and documentation accurately and on time.

• Identify and recommend improvements to safety practices, processes, and procedures.

• Provide back-up support to other roles within the department as needed to meet production and project requirements.

• Use and operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively during assembly tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience performing basic electrical and gas piping tasks.

• Experience working from both written and verbal instructions in a production or field environment.

• Comfort working near moving mechanical parts and in environments with potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.

• Ability to climb ladders, work occasionally in high or precarious places, and occasionally work on hands and knees.

• Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools used in electrical and mechanical assembly.

• Willingness to use and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to the task and environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ixonia, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $66600.00/yr.
