MSL/Senior MSL Oncology, Multiple Myeloma (High Plains)

AbbVie seeks a field-based scientific expert to provide medical and clinical support for oncology products in the multiple myeloma space across a five-state territory. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, presenting scientific information, and supporting research initiatives while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and maintain relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in oncology and multiple myeloma
- Present scientific and clinical education on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products to healthcare professionals
- Support research initiatives including site evaluation, recruitment, investigator meetings, and external collaboration management
- Serve as medical and scientific resource to healthcare providers; answer unsolicited medical inquiries
- Conduct training for medical affairs, field sales, and internal personnel on assigned therapeutic areas
Requirements
- Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP in relevant scientific discipline
- Minimum 0–2 years relevant experience for MSL; 3+ years for Senior MSL
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and related software
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, or North Texas
