Internal Audit GBM Private Technology Audit, Associate INTERNAL AUDIT We ensure Goldman Sachs maintains effective controls by assessing the reliability of financial reports, monitoring compliance, and advising management on control solutions. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Goldman Sachs Internal Auditors demonstrate strong risk and control mindsets, analytical skills, professional skepticism, and the ability to challenge and discuss effectively with management on risks and control measures. YOUR IMPACT Communicates and reports on the effectiveness of the firm’s governance, risk management and controls that mitigate current and evolving risk Raise awareness of control risk Assess the firm’s control culture and conduct risks Monitors management’s implementation of control measures RESPONSIBILITIES 4-8 years of experience as a technology auditor covering IT application and general controls, application development, SQA, information security, technology consulting or other relevant industry experience BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA/MSc or equivalent University degree in Information Technology Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of software development concepts and system architecture High level understanding of databases, operating systems and messaging Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL SKILLS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Basic understanding of financial market and products Ability to review code (Java, C++, Python, etc.) Experience with Data Analytics tools and techniques Relevant certification or industry accreditation (e.g. CISA) Knowledge of Financial Products and Services Benefits Goldman Sachs is committed to providing our people with valuable and competitive benefits and wellness offerings, as it is a core part of providing a strong overall employee experience.
