The Opportunity

As an OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) Clinic and On-Call OB/GYN, you'll care for obstetrics and gynecology patients at women's clinics within or connected to our partner hospital, with the opportunity to oversee a Certified Nurse Midwife and/or Nurse Practitioner.

This role includes on-call coverage on weeknights and weekends. You won't be required to stay on hospital premises while on call, just within a 30-minute drive of the facility. Lodging is provided, or OBHG will cover lodging costs.

Hospital Information

Mercer County Community Hospital is a full-service acute care hospital managing approximately 450 deliveries annually. It serves as a local acute care hub with 24/7 emergency and inpatient services, a fully equipped emergency department, and childbirth care, offering steady opportunities to manage labor and delivery, triage obstetric concerns, and work closely with local clinicians.

The Location

Coldwater, Ohio is a welcoming small village on Ohio's western border, known for a slower pace, strong community ties, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Originally named "Buzzard's Glory," Coldwater sits near Coldwater Creek in Mercer County, a short drive from the 13,500-acre Grand Lake, Ohio's largest inland lake and a longtime destination for family recreation. Major highways connect Coldwater to Toledo, Dayton, and Cincinnati.
