Investment Team Associate - Private Credit, Direct Lending & Equity Investments

Bryant Staffing Solutions is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to identify a talented Investment Team Associate for its Charlotte office. This position offers hands-on involvement in complex investment transactions spanning private credit, direct lending, and equity investments. The associate will work across both debt and equity structures, supporting sophisticated financial services transactions and advising institutional investors, lenders, and portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent private credit funds, direct lenders, and equity investors in structured finance and investment transactions.
• Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, growth equity, and control equity deals.
• Advise on financial services transactions and IP-related transactional matters.
• Provide transactional guidance to portfolio companies on acquisitions, financings, restructurings, and exits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional legal teams on complex, multi-layered deals.

Ideal Background

• 2-6 years of transactional experience with a focus on corporate, finance, M&A, or financial services matters.
• Experience at an AM 200 law firm strongly preferred.
• Candidates from Top 50 law schools preferred.
• Will also consider attorneys from well-regarded regional firms handling sophisticated transactional work (e.g., firms comparable to Robinson Bradshaw).
• Strong academic performance and excellent drafting/negotiation skills.
• Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission.
